If the enrollment quota is not completely full, the enrollment will be also possible in cases of other related fields of technical and natural sciences (e.g. mechanical engineering, mathematics, etc.) and in that case the Faculty Committee for Teaching and Student Affairs determines additional/differential courses (for additional questions regarding this issue please contact autocom@ferit.hr). The costs of additional courses is determined according to the ECTS of the additional/differential courses:
7000€ * (number of ECTS of additional/differential courses/60 ECTS), for example: If students has 12 ECTS of additional/differential courses, the calculation is as follows: 7000€ * (12 ECTS/60 ECTS) = 1400 €

Deadline for Non-EU Students*
Deadline for EU Students*

The number of admitted students per year will be 30. Selected students will receive a letter of acceptance and a contract. Enrolment takes place in Osijek in September before winter semester begins. Please plan ahead and make all the necessary arrangements in time (visa, accommodation, etc.). These are not legitimate reasons for postponing the beginning of study obligations. Admission is possible in the winter semester only.
The Faculty will reward 50% of the best students according to the ranking list of all students (newly enrolled) or based on the grades achieved in the 1st year (continuing students). These students will be charged a reduced tuition fee amounting 5 000 € per year.
Furthermore, the Faculty will reward 20% of the best students according to the ranking list of all students (newly enrolled) or based on the grades achieved in the 1st year (continuing students). These students will be charged a reduced tuition fee amounting 3 000 € per year. **
If you repeat a year of study, the following formula is used to calculate the tuition fee:
7000€ * (number of ECTS in courses that the student did not pass/60 ECTS), for example: If you earned 36 ECTS in the 1st year, the calculation is as follows: 7000€ * (24 ECTS/60 ECTS) = 2800 €

**If the calculated number of students is not an integer number, the number of students is determined by rounding the calculated number to the nearest integer. Thereby, if the calculated number is exactly half-way between two integers, the number of students is determined by rounding up the calculated number. For example, in the case of 21 enrolled students, the best 50% of students would be:
21*50% = 10.5 = 11 best students
and the best 20% of students would be:
21*20% = 4.2 = 4 best students
i.e. four best students would pay a 3000 € tuition, and the next 11-4=7 students would pay a 5000 € tuition. The remaining 21-11=10 students would pay a 7000 € tuition.
i.e. four best students would pay the 3000 Euro tuition, and next 11-4=7 students would pay 5000 Euro tuition. Remaining 21-11=10 students would pay 7000 Euro tuition.
